What are the benefits of paraffin wax for candle making?

Paraffin wax is one of the best types of wax for candle making. Why? Well, it has a great fragrance ‘hold and throw’. What does this mean? It means that it retains scents very well, so you can be sure that the smell of your candle won’t deteriorate. The ‘throw’ refers to how well the scent is distributed in the air once the candle is lit. The outstanding hold and throw is down to the low melting point.

Paraffin wax is also famed for its lustre and is a great vehicle for a number of colours. So whatever kind of candles you are planning to make, you can be sure that our wax is up to the job.
