Paraffin Wax for wax treatments
Paraffin Wax treatments for hands and feet are usually offered at spas and nail salons. Your hands or feet will be dipped several times into a small tub of gently heated Paraffin Wax. After several layers are added, the hand will be covered in a plastic bag and wrapped in hot towels. The wax will trap the heat opening the pores and taking dead skin cells when peeled away.
The paraffin is often scented with soothing essential oils. We can offer a choice of Paraffin Waxes for this application which include Fruity Peach, Tea Tree and Peppermint and white unscented. These waxes are available in re-sealable 1 kilos bags as handy pourable pellets.
We can also offer Ultra Low Melt Paraffin Wax in 500g blocks. This wax has a melting point of just 46-48°C and is more commonly used for Paraffin Wax therapy. It can be particularly effective for those suffering from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Regular paraffin hand treatments can help relax joints and relieve pain in hands before physical therapy and exercise.
Other Depilatory Wax Types
Poth Hille Peelable Waxes are for professional use and can be removed by pulling against the direction of the hair growth. Fast drying and easy to apply, strip free and specially formulated hot wax pellets. These pliable depilatory waxes remove even the most stubborn hair leaving the skin remarkably smooth and can be pulled from the skin without the use of strips.
Flexi waxes are flexible, super griping, strip less waxes formulated to remain pliable whilst retaining a firm hold on even the shortest of hairs. They are multidirectional waxes, meaning that the hair can be removed in any direction. These waxes do not contain any rosin and are developed to remain pliable whilst retaining a firm hold on even the shortest of hairs. Ideal for face, brows and bikini and underarm.
Cartridge Waxes are formulated for waxing larger areas like legs and backs. Because you apply the wax using a roller attached to the cartridge, it is much quicker than using the more traditional wooden spatula. This wax will just roll on easily in even thin layers and can then be removed with a waxing strip.
