Paraffin Wax

Poth Hille offers a comprehensive range of both semi and fully refined paraffin waxes. Our fully refined paraffin waxes are white, odourless and tasteless with an oil content of less than 0.5%. Melting points range from 42 to 68^oC. They are available in pellet as well as slab form. These waxes are used extensively in the cosmetic industry as well as having a myriad of other applications.

Paraffin wax is an essential component of the candlemaking industry and we can supply a variety of blended products to suit customer requirements.

Microcrystalline Wax

Whilst similar to Paraffin wax, Microcrystalline Wax possesses a fine grained crystal structure rendering them more flexible. They form a smooth paste with oil or solvents and are thus suited for polish formulation.
