Raw Beeswax

There are industries today that have a preference for using Beeswax in its natural state rather than refined.

Natural Beeswax is found throughout the world. The African, American (both North and South) and Australasian waxes tend to be used mainly for blending and refining whilst the Asiatic Beeswax is more sought after in its original form. Each region has distinctive qualities within its wax whether it be texture, colour or odour. The colour of Raw Beeswax can vary from dark brown through to very light yellow depending on the source.

BP & non BP

Poth Hille has been filtering blending and bleaching raw Beeswax for many years and offers a comprehensive choice of white, light yellow or natural yellow Beeswax either to BP, EP, USP grade or purely refined.

Our BP grade is widely used for Cosmetics, Confectionary, Pharmeceutical and Dental products. The non BP Beeswax is particularly popular for use in polishes and candlemaking.

Refined Beeswax may be purchased in quantities of 5kg upwards. We can also supply ½ kilo trays if required.
